The Florida Wave Cup – Part of the WORLDWIDE SHOWCASE SERIES – will be attracting the best teams from the US and Canada! Over 150+ college coaches and scouts will be in attendance. There’s no better place to play and be recognized! And with the beautiful weather in Florida with a number of activities makes this event that more attractive!
Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games. Preliminary games will be held all day Saturday, Sunday with the possibility of some age group playing their 3rd game Monday morning followed with a finals.
All teams should be prepared for scheduled game times at 8 am each day.
The final games will be held Monday late morning and afternoon.
Awards will be given to 1st and 2nd place teams.
Note: U15-U19 is college focused groups and still play into a finals.

All games will be played at the beautiful Lakewood Ranch Complex in Florida, acres of manicured bermuda grass across 22 fields, all in one location.
Each team is guaranteed three (3) games and a possible Finals if your team achieves enough points to play in finals. Bracket play will consist of three (3) games on Saturday, Sunday and the possibly of playing Sunday morning. Each game is 70 minutes. EACH TEAM MAY BE REQUIRED TO PLAY ONE GAME PER DAY. FINALS TO BE PLAYED SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
Finals played on Sunday afternoon will consist of 2 x 35 minute halves then if tied, straight to FIFA penalty kicks will determine the Champion – only top teams in each bracket will crossover to play eachother to crown a true winner.
Entries submitted after the deadline will only be considered for acceptance if there is space available – those teams applying late will be placed on a waiting list. Entries whose payment is not received within 2 weeks of applying will be placed on a wait-list and risk losing their spot.

Credit Card Payment can be made through gotsoccer. ***Entry fee to be sent within 2 weeks of submitting the team application. Refunds will be made to all teams not accepted.
Partial refunds will be made if the tournament is canceled due to weather or Acts of God, but approximately half of the entry fee will be retained. No refunds will be offered once a team is accepted.
Selection Process: The showcase committee takes pride in thoroughly reviewing team applications. With an extensive research period, the tournament committee will consider equally:
Results (and yes, a 1-0 loss to top competition is better than a 10-0 win against much lesser competition)Placement in national ranking, state ranking, provincial, league, and other notable competitions

Our main focus during the selection process is QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.
Acceptance notifications will be e-mailed shortly after the deadline. Early acceptance may be granted for teams traveling from outside the state of Arizona, with the decision made within two (2) weeks after receiving the application provided the application and payments received before the deadline.
Applications will be accepted from teams affiliated with USYSA, US Club Soccer, Canadian Soccer Association and FIFA affiliated youth soccer associations outside of the United States.

The Premier Sports Campus, with Celebration-seeded grass on 22 fields (eight of which are lighted for nighttime use), and more than 140 acres, can support a variety of field-related events. The field irrigation allows for efficient water drainage, which provides for better time-out weather management.
